Jim Bender has a broad range of experience from an entry level and middle management perspective and also from a senior management perspective, having served as:

  • President for The Bekins Company, a 100+ year old, $600M transportation services enterprise

  • President for Bekins Van Lines Company, a 300M leveraged buy-out, franchise-oriented moving and warehousing services business
  • Executive Vice President for a $1B+ worldwide logistics alliance

  • Senior Vice President for The Graebel Companies, a $350M global relocation services and solutions enterprise

  • College Adjunct Instructor, teaching classes in Entrepreneurship and Business Planning

  • Multiple small business owner experiences and expertise

Jim has experienced all levels of management, and has done so in highly leveraged situations, turnaround situations, and start-up situations.

Jim’s credentials includes the following:

  • Certificates of Achievement in Organizational Development and Financial Management from Northwestern University and the University of Chicago

He has served on numerous Boards of Directors, both in for-profit and non-profit entities, and can add considerable value in this area to those with the interest and need.

Jim has also been involved in a variety of acquisitions and divestitures, and has the capabilities required for guiding others through similar circumstances. He has the experience required for the detailed analysis of problem pain-point areas, and for offering honest assessments and solutions on how to fix those problem areas.

IMPROVING FINANCIAL
AND QUALITY PERFORMANCE.

Bottom Line Solutions LLC offers any potential client in need, a one hour free consultation, followed by a mutual agreement to enter into a specific consulting assignment with specific deliverables, time frames and costs. Generally speaking, fee structures are based on project work, but there are circumstances where an hourly rate structure is more conducive to the client. In all cases Bottom Line Solutions LLC requires an upfront 50% deposit of the anticipated total fee structure, with the remaining 50% due upon project completion.
